The Female Technician as a Manager Analysis of the differences in leadership determined by gender within the male dominated domain of technology Female managers still are a minority in the domain of technology. Aim of this diploma thesis is to show how important soft skills like communicational and emo-tional competences are for the selection of managers. Men and women lead diffe-rently. Surveys confirm women‟s good leadership skills. Type models of the brain research are used for analyses. They indicate that technically educated female managers can complement teams of technicians brilliantly. The gender-neutral leadership style is the modern, situational one, where managers continuously realize what is important and urgent.
